This week I had the good fortune to be a guest of Giovanni Scorcioni at the Facsimile Finder table the ARLIS 2018 conference here in NYC. For three days I was whisked into the wonderful world of Art Booksellers and librarians. Introducing my Inferno to the librarians in attendance, doing on the spot drawings for raffle winners, and even donating a drawing of Dante to the ARLIS silent auction, was a total thrill!
After ARLIS, I took my illuminated manuscript up to the Butler Library at Columbia Univ. and met with an Italianist research librarian. They will be buying a copy and featuring the work on their astonishing Dante website resource. I couldn’t be more grateful and delighted!
